It is my great privilege to invite you to the 15th Annual Meeting of the Cancer Genomics Consortium (CGC) scheduled for August 4-7, 2024 in St. Louis, MO at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.
The Scientific Program Committee is working hard to build an exciting agenda revolving around the latest scientific, technological and medical advances in genomics and their application to clinical patient care. Notable for 2024, is the inclusion of two new topics specially addressing equity in clinical diagnostics in underserved populations, and utility of liquid biopsies in cancer patient care.
The CGC Annual Meeting is a unique gathering aimed at bringing the global clinical genomics community together to create an inclusive environment of collaboration, education, networking, and mentorship. With the continuing inter-disciplinary partnerships between clinical genomicists (cytogenetic and molecular), bioinformaticians, genomic variant scientists, laboratory directors, research scientists, pathologists and oncologists, CGC is committed to playing an essential role in translating scientific discoveries into the clinical diagnostics setting for patient care and guiding the best practices to enable precision medicine at the highest level.
The meeting will include invited scientific presentations from leading scientists and professionals, selected platform and poster presentations, round table discussions on latest topics, educational workshops as well as ample opportunities to network with the industry partners.
We will to continue to support a hybrid meeting format in 2024 with both in-person and online participation. We believe this format ensures accessibility to a broader national and international audience of scientific colleagues, without compromising the advantages of in-person engagement and networking. We will also continue our commitment to reduced registration fees to promote participation by our colleagues in LMIC.
We look forward to your participation in August 2024!
